The day started rather early, we had to get together
in Gothenburg at ten oclock and go on a sightseeing tour around
the city. It was a double-decker bus and I was so lucky to sit upstairs
right in the front so I could see everything. The problem was that the
seagulls were always shitting on the window so it was kind of hard to
see through all that dirt!
So after the tour with all those churches and fish,
actually in one place we saw a fish church, we had time
to shop in Gothenburg and visit the famous mall Femman. Most of the
Icelanders went wild in H&M, Intersport and Vera Moda and spent
almost four hours there. So after all the shopping Maria and me felt
like going to the toilet so we asked the next person where it was. We
got the directions and off we go, but no, no, no, not that easy. Of
course we couldnt find it and we had to ask two persons to get
the right directions. When we finally got there with two stuffy shopping
bags, YOU HAD TO PAY TO GO TO THE TOILET!!! So I had to go to a store
and change money into a five SEK (approximately 50 ISK), but thats
not all, so I paid and got inside that dirty public toilet and couldnt
lock the door!!! I thought to myself it would probably lock by itself
and off I went. But all off a sudden, sitting on the toilet with toilet
paper in my hand, the lights went out and the door opened. I screamed
Maria, Maria and she came running with another coin and taught me how
to lock the door. I can say I know that never in my life I would go
to such toilet. NO THANKS!
So next we headed off to Liseberg, the famous tivoli, threw our bags
to some lady and started our ride. Maria and me headed first to the
oldest machine, which was some kind of a swing and then another and
another and another. Unfortunately the Hangover was closed so we couldnt
show our good screaming tactics there but the roller coaster and the
other stuff came instead. When we were getting really cold it was time
to meet our Swedish hosts and go home after a day of adventures.
Today, Sunday, we are working with our projects and everything is going
great. From four oclock we have free time so maybe we can have
a little sleep or some cozy thing, which does not take a lot of energy.
I hope the forthcoming days will be so successful and fun!
